Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, South Florida Events
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is the world’s largest boat show. It has been celebrated annually for almost 50 years and this year it will be held from October 30th to November 3rd 2008. This star of South Florida Events displays yachts, over 1,600 vessels including boats, 160 super yachts, engines, accessories and electronics. The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show takes up over 3 million square feet of land and water at six different sites. As one of the most popular, major South Florida Events, The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is heavily attended and attendees are urged to book Fort Lauderdale vacation rentals well in advance. Parking tends to get chaotic so renting a Miami Limousine may be a fun and necessary idea.
Children under 6 years of age are admitted free and tickets for children between ages 6 to 15 cost $5, while adult admission is $18. Prime Time Preview tickets or a 2-day pass are available for $32 each.
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show sites will be located at the Las Olas Marina, Fort Lauderdale Grande and Pier 66, Bahia Mar Yachting Center/Hall of Fame Marina and the Convention Center first floor, third floor and Center Sailfish Pavillion.
